"TV dot com"

I signed up for TVTome about 6 months before the site closed. TVTome did not have Correct information about Tom & Jerry. So I tried to submit and nothing happened. TV dot com took over TV Tome in June of 2005, and I signed up as In-Correct. This is the first time that I used this user name and it was only because of: The Tom & Jerry inaccuracies, and because of "Incorrect" was already taken so I added a hyphen. I met a lot of online friends from all over the world on TV dot com and we all posted on the SpongeBob SquarePants forums, which was very fun and we posted off-topic threads numerous times. I subscribed to people, and people subscribed to me. I submitted many submissions and also became the editor of Tom & Jerry and "Trusted Contributor" for Chuck Jones. I also wrote blog posts, and reviewed many television shows and epsiodes. And obviously, I also Corrected the Tom & Jerry information which gathered all episodes, including The Tom & Jerry Comedy Show by Filmation.

Mainstream animation is not the same anymore. But that is the subject for another blog post.

TV dot com was always annoying and very slow. And then some of my blogs got deleted...I am guessing it is neglect towards their computer systems. They did not send me any messages saying that my blogs got deleted. I don't know what happened at all. But I posted another blog entry about that, and somebody suggested that I sign up for TVRage.com

It is a very interesting website and was only a few month old and was in development many months before. I wondered why I did not see it before. Of course TVTome was several years old and that is most likely how I found TVTome which became tv dot com. I signed up with the same User Name, In_Correct. Okay, so I accidentally used what is called an Underscore instead of a hyphen or dash or whatever. I have learned that I like In_Correct much better because it is easier to search for. If you search for "In-Correct" online, you will find search results for "incorrect"... but if you search for "In_Correct", you will get relevant search results for my profile pages!! =] ^_^ I like TVRage and decided to browse it more often. I also used "In-Correct" and variations of this for other websites that I signed up for.

Later on, TV dot com started deleting my reviews. I still don't know why.

Here are the messages:

I have not logged into TV dot com since August 2007.
These are some of the messages that I got.

Subject: Attention all Editors: Special Circumstances
Hey everyone,

With the holidays coming up, all editors should be reminded about the Special Circumstances thread in the Ask the Editors forum. Since people will be going on seasonal breaks during the next couple of weeks, it would be fantastic if editors post their vacation plans on the Special Circumstances thread.

Also, please use the thread if you know you won't be able to check your queues for any reason whatsoever. Or if you are unable to post something yourself, ask a fellow TV.com user to post about it for you. Or at the very least PM (or have your friend PM) one of the staff members so we can make sure your queues are checked while you're away. If there are submissions in your queue past the seven day limit, they will be staff-moderated and you will be reported MIA.

Remember that you as an editor are required to clear submissions within seven days (three days for popular shows). There have already been instances where editors have lost their guides because they didn't clear out all their subs or respond to the MIA warning PM within one week. Retirement is permanent and cannot be reinstated once taken away. The staff is trying to be more diligent with MIA editors so please utilize these guidelines to ensure that you won't be force-retired. Thank you and happy holidays!"

We are writing to inform you that you have been retired from Tom and Jerry editorship.
You no longer have editor priviliges for this show. Thank you for supporting TV.com.

And you can see in the Special Circumstances message, they are supposed to send a warning message before retiring editors. I never recieved any of these messages.

Subject: TV.com TOS Violation Warning.
You have been found to have violated the TV.com terms of service.
Reason for moderation: Has an unclosed font tag & is messing up text coloring on the rest of the page, please correct
Action Taken: Nothing - No points were lost for this moderation.

See your moderation history for details."

That is the entire message. So WHERE exactly is this unclosed tag?! I would be glad to resolve this issue, even after leaving the website. Unfortunately I can't resolve the issue about the unclosed tag if they did not tell me where the unclosed tag is. This is the only instance about colorizing my posts. Nobody has a problem with the posts being in color, but there was apparently an issue someplace where I accidentally did not use a font tag. That is very strange since tv dot com has a RTF editor for their forum posts which offer easy use of Colors, Sizes, And Fonts of text. And why bring this up on August 31, 2009?! I had not even logged into that site for many months!! They certainly take their time to notice issues.

NOT FINISHED YET.

"Mac-Forums":

http://www.mac-forums.com/

Since website does not pay, I normally don't get on these types of websites.

I am going to also let you know that this website is NOT "The Ultimate Source For Your Mac." There is little support available for Low End Mac users. There isn't any forums for Mac OS 9, only referring to Classic Environment. ( NOT. THE. SAME. THING. ) But that is the subject for another blog post. I believe it is biased and not very reputable website. The moderators are not very professional, and I have seen the mac forums site numerous times in numerous Google Searches. Of course very little of the users that ask questions on the website that are similar to mine get very good responses, if any.

I was looking at alternatives to play online videos with G3 hardware, which does not handle modern viedos well. While it is PARTIALLY a hardware issue, I have seen videos play well before, even in Mac OS 9!! Additionally, I have seen many games play well in Mac OS 9, but not well in Classic Environment. Playing videos is not perfect with G3 hardware, and I don't recommend multitasking for example. G3s are what I have been using; I have not been budgeting for a newer computer. I also don't believe that a computer should be obsolete after one year.

I found a solution on the Low End Mac website about how to play youtube videos. It came up in the google search and so did a thread on Mac Forums started by somebody wondering the same thing. They were giving the usually "No." answers. I had to register on this webiste to Correct the people, for the benefit of the member that asked and for anybody that is wondering the same thing and ends up finding that thread in a Google Search.

I used my usual User Name, and also used my usual colors, fonts, and sizes. If Highlights were available, I would have used that also. mac forums is a vBulletin. This could explain why they have the colors, sizes, and fonts.

It got interpreted as yelling. You can still find the thread at the mac forums website. It has been closed by a moderator, so I can't edit my post. I was going to edit it to the default text, but I can't now. It could be possible for the moderators to edit them. I used it on all my posts at first, and then they got edited very quickly back to default text. I thought it was a website glitch, so I re-edited them. One of the posts is still there: the very first post that some people thought I was yelling.

Correct me if I am wrong (which I am not) but

THIS IS YELLING. THIS IS YELLING!! THIS IS F*CKING YELLING. (although I didn't type the entire cuss word, you get the idea)

AND AIOTHEohityAIOU TYHAT HOAEIThaoEHTAHOETU AEH THIS aoitOIAEUT CAN OEIRUY*YRTOAIUEGH BE AEIOTIOAEHOHEA ANNOYING.

And ALL Bold, Italics, And Underlines Can be yelling AND distracting.

But my colors, fonts, and sizes are none of these things. And all I said was that the members were In-Correct; I did not use any personal attacks. All I said about the matter was "You are all In-Correct." and then I immediately mentioned the solution. I also shared more details in a later post. There were other members that did not like my user name, and apparently my colors, sizes, and fonts. They also did not like my response, saying that they were right and I was wrong. It was a pointless argument because other members had posted even MORE solutions to the problem. At the same time, I ended up having to clear things up. And then the member was giving me the worst problems is Chris H. saying that I need to go back to high school to learn how to properly communicate over the internet, implying that I needed to go back to high school to qualify to be able to post on Mac Forums. I have graduated high school and I know, that high school teaches nothing of the sort. Chirs H.'s personal attacks continued to say that the other members are not therapists and I should keep my personal problems to myself.

While my routine colors, sizes, and fonts selections are something I like to do, at the same time it helps other people be better able to read my posts. The default text is a very small and very dull grey. Some other members are actually suggesting that I magnify the web pages instead. There are claims that bright colors cause headaches and dull colors are soothing. I think that the grey color is very difficult to read and I probably won't be around on any website like that that forces me to decide to stare at the screen dangerously close for my eyesight, or magnify the page. If benefits about the grey was true, then ALL other websites would use them. Some of the posts are grey ON grey.

And once again, I have never had any problems with my user name, and my color, size, and font selections on other forums. Never, until now. All I said about the issue was "You are all In-Correct." and I can see that the large size, at least, could be considered yelling. Of course it seriously did not cross my mind!! And even if this is what began some negative responses INCLUDING personal attacks, then whoever breaks the rules in fact...breaks the rules. It does not matter who "started" it, I never used any personal attacks and those that post personal attacks should be punished.

This forum reminds me of high school. Like high school, I get along with most people...but there has to be at least a small group that causes problems that makes me feel unwelcome. I am not sure but it is very likely that Chris H. is a high school student, or a college student. He is very wealthy, and he often uses childish statements such as the ones he said to me to lots of other people. Additionally, why did Chirs H. reply to begin with?! He never offered any solutions before me, and so I wasn't even Correcting him. I was NEVER even close to as arrogant as Chris H.

I even considered deleting my account, but there is a thread from a forum admin that says that this is never done. Instead, I will post in recent threads and I will be as professional as possible. I will not do this often because these types of websites I only sign in every once in a while.

Perhaps everybody will calm down. But it is still very annoying that all this got started beginning with my user name and then with my selection of colors, sizes, and fonts. Some might decide to gripe about my Jumping Burger Avatar. (In this case, it is not jumping since vBulletin, or at leas Mac Forums...does not support animated images)

====

I have now moved this blog post to my old blog. I will not return to this website because they have banned me. Their reason is "Not a good fit". and the date the ban will be lifted is "Never". This "Not A Good Fit" isn't any reason to ban anybody. The other members that have actually and clearly broken the Terms Of Service did not get punished. I filed a Rip Off Report against them. I am surprised that I sign up for a website, get harrassed from day one, and get permenantly banned after less than one week of registering. They are clearly not the ultimate source for your mac. I discourage everybody to not register for that website or you will risk being harassed by Chris H. who is not a moderator, and by the moderators and Schweb. Take your questions and advice to some other website.

This is my profile. I will not have anything to do with this website anymore, except for the rip off report, which can't be deleted and that means the truth can never be buried.

"Introduction To In-Correct's BlogSpot":

This is actually my very first blog. At one time, Google did not have all of its services linked with one user account. When they began this new feature, this blog got mixed up with my old google account and everything else, including new blogs, was created with a new universal google account. Everything has been set up with this new account and it has been like this for a while, and I have been trying to figure out how to export my old blog. I logged into my old blogger account and also my old gmail account, and gave authorization, including administrative access, to my new universal google account. I cancelled access to the blog from my old account and now this blog is now available on my new account.

It has been like this for years until now...I created this blog

http://www.in-correct02.blogspot.com/

before resolving this issue. The new blog became my main one instead of this one. I deleted all my old posts since I already have them exported other blogs on the same account. New posts for this blog will contain information about profile pages of mine on websites that I don't visit anymore because of whatever reason.

I am not upset or even frustrated with Google's decision to make everything accessible only with your gmail account... Now that I figured out how to use all the features...I now understand that having all the accounts linked to the gmail account makes perfect sense. =] ^_^

I think I am going to give my old blogger account access to all of my blogs in addition to having my new blogger account having access to all of my blogs.
